What is the Cloud?

Imagine that you need a place to store and access your important files, like documents, photos, and videos. Instead of storing these files on your own computer, you can store them on someone else's computer that you can access over the internet. This is called "cloud computing."

Using cloud computing is a bit like renting a storage unit to keep your stuff in. You can access your stuff from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection, and you don't have to worry about running out of space on your own computer. Plus, someone else is responsible for maintaining and protecting the storage unit, so you don't have to worry about that either.

Cloud computing can also be used to run applications and perform tasks that would be too difficult or expensive to do on your own computer. For example, you might use cloud computing to run a website, or to do a lot of data analysis all at once.

Overall, cloud computing is a convenient and cost-effective way to use computer resources without having to own and maintain your own physical computer or device. Does that make more sense?
